Art through commoning means: The (re)learning, negotiating, producing and using for the common good takes place in the spirit of the collective. The artistic-curatorial practice can then be understood and described as an ongoing process of relationship building – similar to the frequently used metaphor of making art as a conversation between works, artists, curators, collaborators, critics, spaces, tools and materials, knowledge, audiences and more.
They co-create tools, materials, ideas and knowledge to share and pass on generously. They experiment with ways of being together that allow skills and time to be contributed voluntarily and beyond the logic of exchange.
